This isn't a tutorial, but I wanted to post this anyway. Many many years ago at Comic Con, I saw Erik drawing and his grip was so awkward and fascinating to see. At the time, I was a HUGE fan of his from his Spider-Man days and of course The Savage Dragon. So seeing the way he drew....blew my mind. It looks so painful and like he would be fighting every single line he puts down on paper. But in the end, the guy is one of, if not THE most productive artists in the business. He can crank out pages with ease. So, who cares out he holds a pencil. All that matters is what the end product looks like.

Francisco is one of my favorite artist right now. He comes from the school of Humberto Ramos. They have similar styles, but lately Francisco has started to evolve beyond his original style, which I dig. I've been searching a long time on YouTube for some videos. There is nothing with the exception of this clip, which I had asked the uploader to post a couple of months back. He finally made good on his promise.

For those that don't know how Campbell works when creating amazing pieces of art, you may find his process to be somewhat enlightening. Fans of his already know his process as its not a secret. It's actually pretty common among Comic Book Artist to draw super small and then blow up to 11x17 inches and then light box the finish pencils before turning it over to the inker and then colorist.
