MiB: Men in Black - Limited Edition

Trailer

What's not to love about Men in Black? It's pure fun that has the perfect ratio of Humor, Adventure and eye popping Special FX. I still think the majority of what's on screen still holds up today. But the biggest reason to see this movie is the pairing of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Up till this movie, I wasn't really much of a Jones fan. But since then he has popped up in some of my favorite films. Even though both Agent Kay and Agent Jay take what they do serious, the movie itself doesn't take itself serious at all. It's almost a Saturday Morning cartoon in some ways that has a *wink wink* nod for the viewer, which allows the viewer to have fun.

I always enjoy watching MiB and highly recommend this as a Buy. The Limited Edition is the one that I bought when it first came out. Not sure what the Deluxe Edition would have that this one doesn't. I'm guessing a whole lot more.

I can't think of another movie that even remotely captures the magic this odd pairing of characters portray. The story, the characters, the direction is an excellent balance of humor, sci-fi, and special effects. Well, maybe Tremors (one of my favs), does a similar job of pure entertainment.

I've seen this so much and thank Gawd they show this movie enough, I don't need to buy it. Like Independence Day.

But this is must see.

I've never seen the sequel in large part to all the negativity towards it. I do intend to check it out for myself though.
