Spellbound

Trailer

There's not gonna be much of a review for Spellbound. All I can really comment on is that the film maker does a great job editing this documentary to increase the suspense of watching kids compete at the National Spelling Bee competition. The doc itself follows 8 kids who are among 250. I'm still blown away in their ability to spell words that I didn't and still don't believe exist. ;D With 8 kids, they each have their own stories to tell at the beginning, which I understand was necessary, but as a viewer I was bored with it. The doc really doesn't take off until they are all in Washington battling it out. Worth a Rent.
