I'm still in the middle of my Battlestar Galatica marathon and prior to starting it, I did check to see what other people chose as their preferred way of watching the series. It's been stated by many that the best spot for The Plan is to watch it immediately after the episode No Exit in Season 4.5.  I may have watched the entire series of BSG multiple times, but this is actually the first time I've seen The Plan. When the series originally wrapped, I didn't follow any news about the BSG Universe (with the exception of Blood and Chrome) and I never knew about the movie when it came out. I actually didn't even hear about it until maybe 3 years after the fact.

As for the movie itself, the selling point is that we see the first two seasons through the eyes of the Cylon regarding the war with Cavil being the primary puppet master pulling all the strings. The movie was okay, but I don't think it's vital to watch because a lot of the movie relies on existing footage that we have already seen in the regular series. It just felt like I was watching a 'Greatest Hits' montage with added scenes to flesh out Cavil's character. With this montage style rundown, there is a lot of jumping around so it seems a bit haphazard. Like I said, not a bad way to milk the series for one last payday, just not essential. With that said, I did like the coed shower scene going all  n u d e. It was released on DVD first so they could get away with it. But I will say that as much as I approve gratuitous nudity, I did find it a bit odd that they basically hired  p o r n  stars. I don't know who the chicks were, but there were a couple of them with monster racks that you only find in  p o r n . Certainly not on Galatica.  There is also a sex scene as well later in the movie. Worth a Rent if not an outright Buy. Speaking of nudity, they also did the same for Caprica as well by adding an  O r g y  in V-World for the DVD release.

I don't remember nudity in there at all, I just remember how for a movie called "The Plan," it didn't seem as if they had a remotely coherent plan at all.

As for the p o r n star thing, yeah, all the shows with nudity do that, even/especially Game Of Thrones.  Cause if you want an actrss who's only going to be unclothed or having sex, why not go right to the source? Having said that, I do think the obvious ones can be distracting, silivon and all that (were they meant to be soldiers yet looked nothing like soldiers?).

Just a heads up, when I said Game of Thrones, I meant to say Spartacus. Game of Thrones is "guilty" for sure, but I think Spartacus is the most blatant in hiring  p o r n  stars.
