I also thought they made a huge mistake by going even further into Cain's back story as a child where she ditches her sister to save her own life as the Cylons close in on them. I get it. She's scared and self preservation kicks in. But this really alienated me. If the intent was to make us sympathize with her, this was the wrong way to do it. I always come away from that scene hating Cain even more and part of me ends up glad that No. 6 duped her in the way she did.
