Begin Again

Trailer

Run out and get Begin Again on DVD even if you have never seen this. Run out and get the soundtrack on CD even if you have never heard this. Begin Again is f*cking phenomenal. It's basically a love letter to music that also comments on the state of music and the business that it wants to be in this day and age but can't get over the old business model. The chemistry between Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo is fantastic. Along with great performances they have the music to back it up. I love how they set up both characters stories at the start. By the time we get to them making an album together, we know what's at sake for both of them. I can't wait to Buy both the DVD and CD for this. This was a joy to watch and hear. Her perform ace was a revelation to me. Love the idea of recording outside...warts and all.

I still haven't seen this, but I wish I had thought to watch this with "Laggies."  It could have made a good double-feature.

Laggies?

Could not agree more.... Love, love this flick, and for all the reasons you review.
I would suggest Rudderless as the the double feature.

I will pick these up on DVDs some day. I already ripped both soundtracks.

Edit: did you boys ever get around to checking out Nowhere Boy? I forget.

I saw Nowhere Boy the night it came out.. right after Kick-*ss... which made it a little strange.

Laggies = Keira Kngihtley, Sam Rockwell, and Chloe Moretz.  Cute little indie.

Huh, my library has it. I'll check it out.

By the way, I got Kingsmen in, started to watch it. I wasn't feelin the best. My wife was bored, so stopped it.

I liked what I saw hope to watch it all tonight or tomorrow. Review later.

KIngsman is freakin' amazing, dude!  Though I wasn't in the mood to watch it last night either, do watch it, it's blisteringly wonderful.
