THAT was an awesome, kick ass episode, especially the last 5 minutes when Walt confronts Tuco. But lets start with everything that leads up there. Walt is now dealing with the worst part of his treatment. He is sick, being pumped full of chemo, hair failing out, vomiting, etc... He looks sick and run down with barely a hint of life. Jesse has a meet with a potential distributor to unload their Crystal in bulk instead of having to sling it for a small payout. The meeting doesn't go well as Tuco steals the pound of meth and proceeds to kick the  s h i t  out of him, sending him to the hospital.

Walt not wanting to deal with his hair loss decides to just shave his hair off once and for all. It seems that just this little event transforms him into something else all together. Yes, he looks like a badass, which also literally makes him one too. The confrontation to retrieve the stolen money and lay down the law shows clearly that he is now alive and and taking charge.
