The Rock and Roll Season! Sure, previous seasons have had bits and pieces of rock and roll in it, but Season 6 is ALL Rock, all the time. So that right there makes this an easy winner in my books. But this season is also damn funny and a lot of that goes to Tim Minchin as Rock Star Atticus Fetch who is working with Hank Moody (David Duchovny) on a Broadway Musical. Well, "working" is a bit of a stretch since they are both basically living the rock star lifestyle. Adding to the festivities is Steve Jones (yes, THAT Steve Jones from Sex Pistols) and he was fantastic as well. Minor cameos by Marilyn Manson and Sebastian Bach add to the credibility this season.

Also making this season an absolute must is the addition of the two Maggie's. In one corner we have Maggie Wheeler is psychotic and extremely funny as an overcompensating Feminist. In the other corner is Maggie Grace who is damn good in this. I definitely think this is the best thing she's ever done and that includes LOST (which she never got to do much of) and Taken (which doesn't require much acting). Props for a mini-LOST reunion when she shares a couple of scenes with Jorge Garcia (yes, Hurley from LOST). Worth a Rent. Check it out. Super fun season.
