Catwoman

Trailer

After years and years of purposely staying away from Catwoman, I guess the curiosity finally got the best of me (grooooooan, bad joke  ;D ). The reason I avoided this is obvious given how much hatred as been leveled at the movie over the years. Having just struggled to get through this pile of sh*t, I can agree with the masses at large....to a point. Yes, this is a bad movie end to end. Everything from the script to casting to editing to direction is awful. But it's the story and dialogue that really undermine Catwoman. So, the Big Bad is a cosmetic cream? Seriously? This is what you're gonna hinge what was geared to be a franchise on? Having it that this Toxic cream as the source of Catwoman's power was a joke. But having it as the source for Sharon Stone's power was even more laughable. Speaking of Stone.....HORRIBLE casting. Halle Berry doesn't escape the vitriol either. Her portrayal is a joke as well. She makes Superhero  P o r n  Parodies look like Citizen Kane. The way she struts makes the character look stupid, even before she says one word. Now, for what really makes this a bad movie.....the dialogue. When a writer chooses to dumb a script down to nothing but quips, catch phrases and double-entendre's, nothing can be taken seriously, which is ironic given what the movie wanted to be, even though it's nothing but bad Camp. If I haven't made it clear by now, Halle was HORRIBLE. Now, let's talk about Catwoman's costume. Um, let's not. Simply put....it SUCKS! With all that said, I still say that Batman & Robin and Daredevil are still the absolute worst in the Genre. As for Catwoman, do I need to tell you this is a Skip?

I have never seen this. Though I had intentions too because of said 'Hot' costume. But I guess it is not?

I wonder what goes through actor's minds who constantly choice and obviously bad project, like the Halle Berry's and Katherine Heigel. While we don't know the details of what is available, how it's pitched, what the actors think of themselves, but at some point you would think they think it through as not only what this project means to entertain audiences, but how is this good for my career. (Note: Ignore any reference to Adam Sandler and Nicholas Cage types who obviously don't give a ****)

As something for Halle to wear, it doesn't suck. I've seen far worst fashion blunders elsewhere. If she wears this in any other movie or just in real life, I guess you can say it's awesome in that trampy sorta way. But as a Catwoman costume, it's absolutely horrid. Well, wherever she wears it, be it movies or real life, get rid of that awful looking mask. It makes her look like she is at a kids party trying to blend in as "festive", but makes her look embarrassing to the other kids and parents.
