You ever hear of a movie and immediately think that you've already seen it before? Well, that's the case with me with regards to Some Like It Hot. Given how old the movie is and how many times I've seen bits and pieces of the film over the years, I was absolutely 100% convinced that I had seen the movie in its entirety at least once when I was a kid. Well, having just watched this, I can say with certainty I have not, which blows my mind. There are a couple of things that also blew my mind even more than that. One, that the movie is set in Florida. With Hotel Del Coronado used as the main Set within the movie, I just naturally assumed that the story took place in San Diego. Ack! It's not. The other thing that blew my mind was Jack Lemmon. It's not often that anyone can upstage Marilyn Monroe, but that's just what Lemon did. He is by far the funniest thing about the movie. Insanely funny!

If you are a fan of Tootsie, Mrs. Doubtfire or Bosom Buddies, you will absolutely get a kick out of watching Lemmon and Tony Curtis strut their "stuff". There seems to be a running theme that in order to get near the girl of your dreams, it's gonna be under false pretenses and in drag and they work it to great effect in this one. Definitely worth a Rent if you have never gotten around to checking out Some Like It Hot. As for Curtis, insanely jealous that he got to mack on Monroe as much as he did. No fair! Joe E. Brown was also good in this one too.

I KNOW I've seen this entire movie many moons ago.
