Yea, the first time I was pretty much pissy the whole time. I think I got engaged when they were walking through the subway.

I didn't mind the abrupt ending. I think hollywood needs more of them... If done right.

I have come back to Cloverfield twice since then. There's something about it. I do forgive the shaky. Cam to a point. I heard discussion of a sequel. I could only hope the studios and directors see shaky cam as a fad and figure out something more palatable.

 I too recommend a rent . It is unique in presentation.
