John Wick

I went into this movie with high expectations as this was a return to form for Keanu Reeves. The body count is super high and the film looks stylish, but for me that's all it was. I never connected to John Wick at all and at no time did I ever feel the character was ever in any serious danger. So, that makes the final Boss fight all the more confusing. The entire movie, Wick is a killing machine, taking on all comers who are much younger than he is. And yet I'm suppose to buy the fact that Wick suddenly at a disadvantage from some 60+ year old man that doesn't even look like he could punch his way out of a wet paper bag? You really have to just check your brain at the door because you're just gonna spend too much time on these small, but annoying details. Still entertaining and worth a Rent for the carnage. One last thing, the only true connection anyone will get from this movie is the dog at the beginning.
