Justified (Season 6 - The Final Season) Justified defied the odds and gave the fans a whopper of a sendoff and I'm not taking about just the
Finale, but all of
Season 6. Most, if not all series tend to overstay their welcome and fade with each successive season because they run out of ideas and this was a big concern of mine. But having just watched
Season 6, it's safe to say that the series has solidified the #2 Spot in my personal All-Time Greatest TV series ever created. It comes in just behind
Breaking Bad. This is how damn good everything is with
Justified. Great actors, great characters, great dialogue and most importantly, great story-lines from season to season. Getting
Sam Elliott as this season's Big Bad Villain was a fantastic casting choice, as was getting
Jonathan Tucker as the man who would try and take the title away from
Raylen Givens as the 'fastest draw'. Bonus points for also getting
Jeff Fahey into the mix as well.
Before I even started watching any of
Season 6, I kept trying to write my own ending and all I could think of is that
Justified will have some sort of Epilogue 5 years down the road (I was off by one year as it ended up being 4). I was very happy with how the show ended and 100% satisfied that
Givens and
Crowder got one final scene together.
Timothy Olyphant and
Walton Goggins are electrifying together throughout the series run, so it was only fitting that they get one last scene and it was awesome. Loved how they wrapped up
Ava's story-line as well.
Joelle Carter is a phenomenal actress and I want to see her in more things in the future. She killed it every season on
Justified. I highly recommend this as a
Buy. Not just this season, but the entire series deserves to have a spot in everyone personal DVD Library. I have every intention of picking up the eventual Series Box Set.
