Extinction is awful in every way. For starters, I didn't even know what movie I was picking up. The DVD was in the new release section for the week and I grabbed it without even looking or reading anything on the front or back cover. When the movie started, it was apparent that this was another addition to the Zombie genre. Cool. The opening gave me some hope this would be something worth watching. Nope. Once the story time jump 9 years later, it was boring as f*ck. The main problem with the movie is the lazy writing and the horrible editing. Either the director didn't film enough coverage or the writer simple didn't write the scenes, a lot of what we get here on film starts and ends abruptly, leaving the viewer with a jarring response. Really hated the two main characters. There was so much potential with Arctic Zombies. Too bad they didn't take the time to really dial in on fleshing out the story and more importantly the characters. Skip this turd.
