Max Steel was beyond boring.....it was pointless. The only thing the movie has going for it are the special FX and somehow they even managed to f*ck that up as wel in the sense that the kids powers were boring too. But my biggest issues with the movie has to do with the actor (who is awful) and the writing/editing. Because of how they chose to tell the story....with as little detail as possible, we are left completely in the dark. Trying to be cute with type of story narrative doesn't work most of the time, especially with a plot like this. Would have preferred it to be told in a more traditional way. Anyway, movie was boring. Can't recommend it.
