Hellboy was a good movie, but Hellboy II: The Golden Army  f u c k i n g  rocks!! As good as the first one was, the humor that they were trying to get across came as as being forced. The timing was just off. But in this one, Ron Perlman and the rest of the cast nailed every line. Along with eye popping Special FX, amazing sets, cool creatures and monsters, this is one funny movie.

There are so many great moments and scenes to be found throughout the film. The Troll Market was amazing and it gave Guillermo del Toro a chance to do his own "Tatooine " scene. The creatures to be found make the original Bar scene in Star Wars look pretty tame. This was a living, breathing community of misfits. Another great scene was Red and Abe getting drunk. I couldn't stop laughing.

And one of the coolest things here was the Villain, who just looks so damn cool. Give me a badass that knows how to move and fight and the showdown will be all the more engaging, which this one surely was. Great fight choreography at the end. Loved the opening scene with John Hurt returning to reprise his role in a flashback sequence, telling young Hellboy the story of The Golden Army. The Tooth Fairy scene was awesome. They reminded me of the Isz from The Maxx.

Highly recommend this as a Buy. Duh.
