Licence to Kill
Special Edition

Trailer

Everything I said about The Living Daylights with regards to being prejudice toward Timothy Dalton and not giving that movie a chance applies to License To Kill as well. Other than the two times I've seen this, I remember hardly anything from this one. Well, I do remember Wayne Newton's hammy performance, but that's about it. The story itself was okay, nothing spectacular, especially for one that hangs on the 007 legacy. It's a decent flick, but definitely a step down from The Living Daylights. There were a couple of nice surprises in License To Kill though.

I knew that Robert Davi was in this as the main Villain, but what I never picked up on until tonight was that Grand L. Bush was in this. Not only was he in this one, but he shared a scene with Davi. What makes this anything more than that? Well, if you are a fan of Die Hard, they both also played the role of FBI Agent Johnson...together. No, the other one. I never knew that Benicio del Toro was in this as well. He is so young. He has got to be like 20 or something. Sheesh! As for the story in this one, I like that James Bond (Dalton) goes rouge. Why? Because it gave Desmond Llewelyn who plays Q, more screen time in this one than he did in the last 10 Bond movies combined.

This is a decent Bond film and I think it's worth a Rent, if nothing else. FYI, this movie has one of the most gorgeous Bond Babes you will ever see: Carey Lowell. Yummy!!
