The Sitter is a cross between Adventures in Babysitting and Superbad, both movies that I'm a fan of. So you would think this would be a winner, right? On paper it should work, but in reality The Sitter is just one long cliche, one after the other, You really don't even have to watch a single frame of it and you will know exactly what will happen and how it will be resolved. There's really not much to tell other than as bad as the writing is and how odd the kids are, it still managed to give me a few laughs along the way. Other than that, not much of a movie. Stick to the original flicks that gave birth to this one. Skip The Sitter. The one thing that kept running through my head the entire time I was watching this movie was how the f*ck does Jonah Hill continue to get Oscar nominations when he continues to do movies like this. Odd.
