....which begs the question, what the f*ck was Steven Spielberg doing? I wonder had he directed the film, would things have turned out differently? Would he have recognized all the problems beforehand and steered it a different way? Or is he so part of the system now (throwing more money at problems) that it wouldn't matter anyway? I know that he had given the writers the idea of an functional and working park with people, but beyond that, I don't know what his involvement was. The same thing was going through my mind when watching Jurassic World, which happened when I first saw Jaws 2 when it first came out back in the day. Could that have been saved as well? Probably not.
