I know I did a review for
Kick-Ass, but I can't find it anywhere in search at all. So, I'm thinking that my only review for it was at another forum before starting
Penny Can. So, let's do this again right here, right now. The first time I watched
Kick-Ass, it was definitely one of my all-time favorite movies that year. It had everything. Action, humor, heart, great characters and great actors to bring life to said characters. Fast-forward 7 years and the movie still holds up. It's maybe not the 5 Star movie I remember it to be, but it was and still is damn entertaining to watch. I totally forgot that
Lyndsy Fonseca was in this. Shocking that I didn't remember her since I had a huge crush on her back when
Nikita was still on the air. Since then, she's practically fallen off the face of the Earth. Anyway, one thing that really struck me while revisiting
Kick-Ass tonight was how old it is. There were 3 things that aged the movie drastically:
Myspace, Lost and
Craig Ferguson. As before,
Chloë Grace Moretz steals the movie in her best role ever. I just wished that she had other roles half as good as this one. Moving on, this is still a movie worth checking out again....and again....and again....
