Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016)

For a series that I really didn't give much chance at succeeding prior to watching it, I've come to really love Kung Fu Panda, especially this third and final installment. There is no decline in story, acting or writing from one film to the next. It's pretty consistent and that's a very hard thing to maintain in a system like Hollywood that always feels the need to "fix" things even if it's not called for. Very Happy with KF3, which is filled with a lot of heart. Some very emotional stuff which was great. I had no idea that Bryan Cranston was attached to this to play Po's father. He was great. Also great was J.K. Simmons as Kai, the ultimate bad guy, who was a bad-ass to say the least and made for a fitting final challenge for Po. I don't know if this is the swan song to the series, but if it is, they went out with a bang and wrapped it all up in a nice red bow. Definitely worth checking out. Great animation and voice work as before.
