The Shape of Things to Come

A crazy and wacky episode that was hopping all over the place. It wasn't clear what and how
Ben shows up in the middle of the desert (it will be explained later), but this was the first instance of
Ben traveling through time to meet up with
Sayid and get him to kill the man that murdered his wife
Nadia.
Ben sure knows how to manipulate and play people like a fiddle. It's easy for him. Back on the
Island, the men shooting the guns are of course from the boat and use
Alex as a bargaining chip to get
Ben to surrender. Doesn't work. She is executed, which I wasn't expecting to happen the first time I saw this episode.
The ending was very interesting and veeeeeeeery cryptic. I of course speak of the meeting between
Ben and
Charles Widmore.
