Although I personally like the episode and never got lost watching it, I think a lot of people may have gotten confused and tuned out after this one since it was all about the people on the Island trying to come to terms with the constant "skipping" of the time traveling Island. There is a lot of stuff that is being thrown at the viewer and if you're not on the ball, I can see how easily it would be to lose track. As I mentioned in my review of Season 4, I never had a problem with the whole Time Travel angle of the series.
