The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham

It seems like we have be hearing all about
Jeremy / John Locke's suicide for such a long time. Seems like 2 seasons worth of episodes. So, finally, we get to see the back-story of how John ends up back on the mainland and how his "suicide" came to be. It was cool to see him trying to get the
Oceanic 6 (actually, just 5 since
Aaron doesn't have a say in the matter). Also cool to see
John visit
Walt. But it's the end that we have all been waiting for. We see that
John is on the verge of hanging himself when he is interrupted by
Ben Linus of all people, who actually talks him down, thus avoiding suicide all together, only to have
Ben turn around and kill him. The first time I saw the episode it made no sense that he would save him and then kill him. The explanation behind this is forthcoming. But it sure didn't sit well with me before.
