I originally saw
Michael Jordan to the Max on an
IMAX theater and was blown away by the on-the-floor footage they captured. Even though it's on DVD, it still looks and feels majestic. If you have ever seen a film that was shot specifically for
IMAX, you know the in-your-face images that come with it. You're in the trenches as it's happening. As for documentary, it chronicles
Michael Jordans' final (at the time) season during his Playoff and Championship run. The doc really is just an excuse to talk about how awesome
MJ is for the game of Basketball. It does get a little deeper though when they talk about his Father and
MJ's minor stint in Baseball. But at the heart of the film is some incredible footage that will take your breath away, even on a much smaller TV Screen.
I've owned the DVD for years. I highly recommend this as a
Buy for sure. You don't even have to be a fan of
Jordan or Basketball to enjoy this one.
