This series just continues to get better and better each year and as much as I love the first two seasons, I was still expecting there to be some sort of drop off with the story. It's clear that the shows creator does have this mapped out because it's actually going somewhere and it doesn't look or feel as if he is writing on the fly, trying to come up with something.
Season 3 shits it's focus onto
CASTOR, the male counterpart(s) to that of
Tatiana's sister clone story-line.
Ari Millen was the perfect choice for the roles of the
CASTOR boys. I can't see anyone else playing those parts. The mythology of the series is getting deeper and more satisfying as we go along. But enough about that. The main reason why this series ticks and runs so well is because of the amazing
Tatiana Maslany and she delivers every single time. I mentioned in Season 2 that I was growing fond of her
Helena character. After this season, she is straight-up my favorite with
Allison a very close second. We also get a new clone for
Tatiana to bring life to. I thought her portrayal of
Krystal was damn good and damn funny. I hope to see more of her in the future. Some damn funny moments when both
Cosima and
Helena have to pretend being
Allison.
Kristian Bruun as
Donnie has also come into his own and offers a lot of comedic levity to the series. Highly recommend Season 3 as a
Buy.
