Before there was Speed, there was Point Break. Yes, Keanu Reeves as a "surfer" is probably the biggest hurdle you will have to jump over in the believability department. But the movie is so much fun, that in the end you really just don't care that he's not that very convincing. It's all about Patrick Swayze anyway. His role as Bodhi is probably one of my favorite characters that he's ever played. What's not to love about this movie? It's got surfing, guns, bank robberies and Ex-Presidents. It's just a great action adventure film that still delivers for me today. Love the sky diving scene as it still gives me a rush. How good is this movie? It's so good that Gary Busey actually seems normal compared to how he is now. This was one of his better roles and definitely in the zone acting wise, much like he was in Lethal Weapon.

This movie is definitely a product of its time, but it has aged extremely well. It still holds up and delivers the goods. I highly recommend this as a Buy.
