Predator: 2 Disc Collector's Edition

Trailer

If you really think about it and look at it objectively, Predator is nothing more than an oversize  p u s s y. No, I don't mean in terms of genitalia. I mean this Monster is  c h i c k e n s h i t ! He wants to hunt for 'sport', but he has to rely on cloaking / invisibility to make his kills. What the  f u c k , Mr. Predator! Man, er....Alien-Up and stop with all the trickery. I bet you go back to your home planet and brag to all your Predator-Homies about how you made such and such kill and how "challenging" it was for you and then you guys kick your feet up and chug down a Predator-On-The-Rocks and get hammered. You aren't nothing! You are a piece of.......*SNIKT*

Oh man, I think he just.....gutted......me................*grooooooooooooooooooooans...................*

*THUMP*

Come on! What's NOT to love about Predator? It's  f u c k i n g  awesome and it has the single greatest cast ever assembled for an 80's flick. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Bill Duke, Jesse "The Body" Ventura, Sonny Landham, Richard Chaves and Shane Black. Oh, and some tiny little guy name Kevin Peter Hall too. I swear, every time I watch this movie it gets shorter and shorter. It moves so quickly without it ever feeling like it's rushing by that as soon as you settle in....the movie is over! Bah!! Out of all the Predator movies, this is clearly KING!

I highly recommend this as a Buy. The Collector's edition is actually a double dip. I still have the original bare bones copy. Buy this one as it's got a lot of extra's, like the 'Making-Of' short.

Can't tell if you're your being sarcastic. Part of my enjoyment was the turning the screws on how humans hunt. I mean the predator does exactly what humans do when hunting animals here on earth. Not right or wrong, but I do kinda snicker when a hunter gets all proud about nailing Bambi with a gun. Yea, you da man.

Well it's kinda sarcastic, but there is some truth to what I'm saying. Predators hop from planet to planet to hunt for sport and collect their trophies. So if that is the name of the game, how can a hunter be satisfied getting it's kills by using invisibility? Anyone can do that and rack up their kills. No skill involved, which taints what they are doing. That's why Dutch getting the best of the Predator is all the more epic. He killed it with mud, leaves and a pointy stick. And Dutch didn't have the luxury of of a hand-me-down cloaking device either. Now people can point out that Dutch uses mud as his cloak to elude the Predator. But that's different. He earned it by falling on his face and discovering it on his own AND he isn't hunting for sport, but trying to survive another day. No game here, bro!

A better example would be Superman entering an Arm Wrestling contest and then bragging about going undefeated in the tournament. No skill involved other than just having something the others don't have.

This may sound like a rant and that I'm knocking the script. That's far from what I'm doing here. I'm just pointing out how Predator is all about the sport but uses "weapon of invisibility" to rack 'em up. I love this movie. I love the story. I even love that ugly  m o t h e r f u c k e r  too.

Can I ramble or what?

Comic-Con

Predator 3D

Quote
One of the coolest promotions happening at the San Diego Comic-Con is Fox Home Entertainment’s customized Predator action figure, which comes with a pre-order of the film’s 3-D Blu-ray release.

Evan Dickson checked out the booth, took a photo with a Predator, played with the create a head feature (see what they look like below), and snapped shots of two different Blu-ray editions.

It’s $49.99 for the Blu-ray and personalized 3-D mapping doll.

For $129.99 you get both of those along with the below Predator head box set.

Just a quick comment on this. I stopped by the Predator Booth and they gave out free 3D Glasses to check out the "eye popping" 3D. This is a Scam. There is no 3D whatsover. I didn't see sh*t. I kept taking the glasses off then back on and then back off, etc....Seriously, there isn't any kind of 3D. I ask them what the deal was and they were like, "it's right there, see". Whatever. I will not be buying this regardless of any promotion. I was really excited to see this, only to come away very disappointed. But hey, I now have a pair of 3D Glasses! Wheeeeeeee!! Just don't have anything that actually works with them though. Boooooo!! No lie, it looked like I was watching a VHS copy of the movie. Sigh.
