Meh. Runner Runner is not the movie I was hoping for. I love movies that deal in the world of Gambling and  C a s i n o' s and this one appeared to have that and more with the Trailer. Add in the Long-Con to the mix and this couldn't fail. Right? Well, it does. For starters, everything seems rushed because Justin Timberlake's character is seemingly able to make deals with people we never even see in the movie or they had 5 seconds tops. So we are asked to believe that his plan is coming together as if he is pulling this out of his ass. But how can we know this if we are trying to figure out how he knows such and such? By the time we get to the end, the payoff is a big letdown. I think had they slowed the pace down and actually spent time building up the relationships that it could have been a half-way decent flick. What's really odd is that these same scenes, had they kept them in would have given it a 90 minute run time. With all these things out of it, it's barely 80 minutes. Skip. Ben Affleck was wasted here. By that I mean his role was light....not that he was stoned or anything. 

I'm 0-3 in the last three days when it comes to movies. Here's hoping the next 3 days pays off for me.
