Really not a fan of Scream 3. I think this is only the 3rd time I've seen this and this actually the first time I've watched the DVD from my Scream: The Ultimate Collection Box Set. What's crazy is that I've had the Box Set since the year 2000.  Twelve f*cking years! So, why am I not a fan of this one? For starters, I just didn't like the characters and actors playing the parts in the movie within the movie. I'm referring of course to Stab 3. Most of the characters just bored me.

The other thing that really irks me is the moment that the Scream franchise literally 'jumped the shark'. I'm a big fan of Jay and Silent Bob, but why the f*ck are they in this movie? It completely and totally broke the tone of the movie and became a joke movie. And it didn't end there. When Carrie Fisher pops up playing someone that looks like Carrie Fisher, and starts talking about how SHE could have gotten the role of Princess Leia if she had agreed to f*ck George Lucas. that was the final nail in this coffin.

The only good thing in this installment was the cameo by Randy to dispense with the knowledge about the Rules pertaining to Trilogy's. Is that enough to Rent this? I dunno. Completest will want to watch this if they are having a Scream Marathon. But if this was a stand alone movie, it would be a Skip.
