Apparently the backlash or betterÖ disenchantment, is there is nothing new here despite the cast, excellent sets and style that capture the aura perfectly. Theyíve painted an exact replica with no substance. They didnít step it up. It might not be horrible, but itís nothing to tell your friends or even remember for that matter.

I would think it would be difficult to bring a good gangster movie. Like cowboy movies, I donít think there are too many folks holding their breath waiting for the next gangster or cowboy movie.

I thought Public Enemies fell into that hole. I didnít think it was bad, but I sure didnít think it was good either. I just remember afterwards thinking that was a whole lot of nothing.

Iím gonna predict The Lone Ranger is going to be a huge flop.
