Horrible movie and it was an absolute chore to get through. Beyond being a  s h i t t y  sequel, it was just very boring and incredibly repetitive. Sure, they ramped up the gore even more than the first 3 films combined and even had Kevin Williamson back on board to write the screenplay, but it still failed. So I have to scratch my head wondering if Kevin even remembers who the core cast of the series are because way too much emphasis was placed on the "new, younger cast". I hated every single character they added and even the original cast were prone to just being background scenery for most of the film.

But what's really sad is that those same people just looked absolutely bored with the movie as well. So I'm not alone in thinking it's just me that thought Scre4m was weak. Don't belive the reviews that say this is better than Scream 3, it's not. Even though 3 pretty much tanked, this one is by far the worst. Having said that, the final 5 minutes of Scre4m was the only thing that was entertaining because it deviated from everything in the first 3 films. I have NEVER wanted a character to die more than the one who turned out to be the killer. Why? Well, I think her motivation just sucked donkey balls. She wanted to be famous? Ugh. Okay.

I did find Kristen Bell's part in the movie to be a nice twist and somewhat funny and surprising, but the opening to the movie was way to repetitive to have to watch over and over and over.....This is a Skip for sure.

I didn't realize till just now that it had been 11 years since Scream 3 came out. No wonder the old cast looked......old.....and tired.
