Well, the best compromise of course would be to actually film and shoot what's on the page, but also have alternate shots and dialogue to be released as an Unrated Version in the same manner they did with Wolverine. Now personally, I have not see the Unrated Version (I don't think I have) and can't really comment on how much different that is from the Original Release.
