I get your revulsion. It happens on occasion with me. I guess it might be partial rebellion on going against the crowd. The Twilight movies come to mind. Titanic too. Both really huge but I just did not want anything to do with them, despite if they were good or not. The Twilight movies are exactly as I thought, so no wrong there in my mind. Titanic was a nice surprise.

Chip is right... I could care less about sports genre flicks. I liked Blind Side for many reasons. While football is a major component, it's the characters that draw a very entertaining flick. And when I found out it was based on a true story that they show briefly in the end credits, it just added a nice smile to the whole film.

Maybe the revulsion will fade over time.

I would suggest at the least give it a go. I think maybe the only disappointment you might get watching it, that its two sweet. And there is not as much nudity as Chip suggests... Like none. He's fantasizing again.

Sandra Bullocks character will balance out the sweetness. She has heart, but she's got balls too.
