The Borune Supremacy is far superior to that of
The Bourne Identity in every way imaginable and where the first one "failed" this one delivers on the final showdown at the end, not once, but twice. The first ending in which
Jason (Matt Damon) gets the better of
Ward Abbott (Brian Cox) by getting him admitting his role in the setup on tape and then refusing to kill him, leaving it up to him what to do is poetic justice.
Bourne knew there was on one resolution and that he would end up killing himself. Mission accomplished. The second ending was awesome, especially the car chase through the tunnel. It may not be all flashy like your typical summer blockbuster movie, but
Supremacy gets its point across. It reigns
supreme!

I highly recommend this as a
Buy, which I already own. This one is well worth the price of admission because the movie is both smart and thrilling. Excellent writing and direction.
Joan Allen was great in this and
Julia Stiles has a small, but pivotal role in this one. I just wish they didn't have to kill off
Franka Potente character of
Marie. I know it's vital for the story to keep moving forward and propel
Jason in the same direction. I just wish they had come up with a better alternative like she had a hangnail and her nail will be avenged, thus keeping her alive.
