Gawd, Ally's eyes staring right at the viewer.  There's something so soulful there.

I'll have more to say.

That is one of my favorite moments for her and says so much about her character without saying one damn word.

It honestly is hard for me sometimes to realize she's also the hot girlfriend in Wargames and the quirky girl in Short Circuit.  I'm sure my unfamiliarity (seeing them once every few years) has something to do with that.  I think she also played Kyle XY's mom, which was kind of perfect casting.

Loved her in WarGames. If you ever get the chance, check out Ally's guest-staring role on Anthony Michael Hall's The Dead Zone for a mini reunion of sorts. One of my fave episodes in the series, but for different reasons than you'd expect.

I promised Nicole DeBoer years ago I'd watch Dead Zone and I saw a chunk of the pilot and that's it.  Gotta get back into it, cause I liked the movie and I liked the pilot.  Cause I'm the guy who will keep a promise to someone I've only met once and will probably never see again.

Watching TBC with the commentary, I haven't listened to a movie commentary in SO long.  But I'm having trouble hearing them so I might just cut it off and watch something else.

The Blu-Ray.  But it's just Anthony Michael Hall and Judd Nelson.  And like I said, it's hard to hear what they're saying.  At least it is for me.

I'll probably watch this again before returning it.

I didn't know the Blu-ray had a commentary track. I still have the original DVD release. I skipped on the 'High School Collection' dvd since it was just the same DVD, but with a new cover. So, this Blu-ray version is news to me. Surprised to hear that it's only two people contributing to the track. Should be everyone involved, cast and crew.

The whole cast was in special features.  But just the two guys on the commentary.  It's sort of like the Stand By Me commentary track.  Although really, what else is there that hasn't been said that needs to be said?

The Breakfast Club: 25 Years Later is an episode of Sminterview, I noticed while I was going through my iTunes library, so I'm listening to it now.  The movie is so fresh in my mind that I'm literally picturing them all in their same outfits and ages, even Judd Nelson leaning back in his chair in that Bender sort of way.  It's funky.  And WAY more informative than the commentary track, I think.

Is The Breakfast Club: 25 Years Later a bonus on the DVD?

It was a special on Epix, I think... but Kevin Smith had a tape recorder going (although it cuts out the end of a GREAT set-up) and it's an episode of his podcast Smoviemakers.  Well worth a listen.
