Yeah, that's why in my original post, I was hoping and pulling for some kid with a camcorder or a comic book artist to do it themselves so that they can do it right rather than having to answer to WB. Sure, it will never get released through them and will have to find it's audience online through word of mouth as a cult project. I would much rather see that instead of something "official" by the studio for the very reason you just stated.
