The Divergent Series: Insurgent

Trailer

So yeah, this movie happened. I swore after sitting through this piece of sh*t known as Divergent that I would never continue onward with this so-called series and just like the first movie, my Library ran out of things for me to watch and all that was left was Insurgent. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, take my Library card away from me. Please. Okay, onto the movie itself, Insurgent is in fact "better than the first", but that's a bit misleading. It's still a sh*tty movie. It's just a less sh*tty one because they have moved past the whole "choosing your destiny with no consequences" plot. This 2nd installment is basically them on the run and that's pretty much it. So, being on the run means it's going to have to rely heavily on action set pieces. Unfortunately for anyone that watches this, that too is going to disappoint you. This has to be one of the most boring, dullest and flat out dumbest excuses for an action adventure. On top of that, the story is just lifeless no matter what you throw at the main character who is awful here. Bad acting, bad writing, bad dialogue. The only thing that I would say was somewhat cool was the dream sequence. Good FX and not much else. Do I really need to tell you where you can stick this DVD? This whole Tween-Film fad needs to just go away. F*ck!!

It not just us older folks... I believe the tweens are sticking their nose up to this series and the other tween studio dreck. The twilight days are just a memory.

Except for Maze Runner series, I don't even pay attention to these.

Wehn I railed against this movie several months ago, I thought "at least they're not making any more of these."  NOPE!  More coming out!  With more, new, and interesting production design meaning I'm gonna suffer through another one of these fvcking movies!
