I have no f u c k i n g idea why
The Incredible Hulk isn't universally applauded or why it gets such negativity directed at it. This movie was f u c k i n g awesome! I went into this one such low expectations that I was convinced that I would turn the TV off after 20 minutes. Not only did I not do that, I was entertained from start to finished. And my heart was racing during the final confrontation between
Hulk and
The Abomination. That was the most kick ass battle between two unstoppable forces in any Superhero movie I've ever watched and it demands repeat viewings, which is exactly what I'm going to do again once I'm done with this review.
I really gotta hand it to
Edward Norton for writing a solid script that made me forget about the worst movie ever made. I'm speaking of course about
Hulk, the one directed by
Ang Lee. When I say that's the worst movie of all time, I mean just that. This reboot is nothing like that at all. This is the movie that other one should have been.
Norton did a great job as
Bruce Banner and I'm sure that he was a fan of the original show because there were some iconic images from that show that made it's way into the film like the opening sequence, eye's getting scanned,
Banner walking in the rain, etc....Now having just watched this one, I'm really bummed that he isn't going to be in
The Avengers movie or any sequels.
I loved the cameos from
Lou Ferrigno and
Stan Lee. They even manage to get
Bill Bixby in there as well and that was f u c k i n g awesome they did that. What was cool is that they also had
Lou do the voice of
Hulk as well and when he utter's "
Hulk Smash", I was grinning from ear to ear like a fanboy trapped inside Comic Con.

That was insane what comes next after the line.
Don't listen to anyone that says this is a bad movie. It's not. I've seen my share of Superhero movies and I own a good chunk of them on DVD. I don't own this one....yet. I will rectify that shortly. I highly recommend this as a
Rent, but for me it's a definite
Buy.
