The Incredibles: 2 Disc Collector's Edition

Trailer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZbzbC9285I

For me, The Incredibles is one of the best Superhero movies of all time. If you look at Superhero films of late, the majority of them suck because it's all about Set Pieces and how many FX shots they can throw up on the screen to 'Wow' the audience. That's all fine if explosions are what your after. But when you walk out of the theater, you immediately forget what you just saw because the characters themselves don't offer a whole lot in the way of....of anything. But with these characters, you have a family that is splintered at the start, because the parents are afraid to let go of their kids and trust them to make choices on their own. It's only at the end when they do trust in them and work together as a team that they are able to conquer all.

I can't tell you how much of a kick it is to watch this one. Everything that you expect from a Pixar film is here, but amplified 1000%. It's THAT good. Of course I highly recommend this to everyone, even those select few that are a bit jaded toward Superhero flicks will find something to like about this one.   This is a definite Buy for sure.

That's great. I can't remember thinking about the Incredibles as a super hero movie. The story of a family what shines. I bought this the day it came out. Haven't watched it for quite some time. I need to sit down and have a animation night, er weekend, I mean week. Cripes I have a ton.

Yeah, I've been dusting off a lot of Pixar films lately because of the book on Steve Jobs. And I still have a ton more to go like Monster's Inc, Bug's Life and other non-Pixar related animated movies too. Wheeeeeeee!!!

Seriously, why the f*ck does it take THIS long to get a sequel and something that actually deserves one, but movies that suck already have Trilogies lined up before a single frame is conceived?

Good movies take time, that's why.  No one gives  ashit about Cars, so they can crank 'em out, but everyone loves The Incredibles, so they have to make sure they do ti right.

I agree with quality, but 10 years is too long to wait, and that doesn't even count into probably another 2-3 years before it hits theaters.. I can't fit into my Incredible Underoos anymore.

How long was the wait between Toy Story 2 and 3?  Or Monsters Inc and Monsters U?  Even Finding Nemo and Finding Dory will have that gulf, I think.
