I lost so many comics and magazines in the move in the 90s.  Miss Starlog for sure, that was the only way I can remember getting the inside track on movies and seeing publicity and behind the scenes photos of movies, presented big and, relatively, clear.  Though nothing compared to the print quality of Total Film or Empire (which don't scratch the same itch, but I still like), those were a nice way for me to explore my love of movies at a time where all else you could do was buy the VHS or a couple low-res JPGs off the Compuserve whatever.  To know the inside track (well, enough of the "inside track" they were willing to tell you) about how they made the flick and the neat little tricks they used.  It would still be a few years before I got my first DVD player (with my first laptop, when I left for college) and could see the special features, when they were deemed worth making and including... oh, I'm nostalgia tripping and I'm not even talking about the movie.
