I dug the movie WAY more than I thought I would, I was hesitant to see it but I'm glad I did (and I place this WELL above Man of Steel).  My issues with the movie are the following:

* There was WAY too much on the screen.  It felt like two or three movies' worth of setpieces jammed into one, and it felt convoluted as a result.  The vengeance throughline got pushed aside for the Indian massacre story to the train robbery storyline.  Too much.  WAY too much.

* Elliot and Rossio haven't stepped up their game.  The flick has all the hallmarks of everything else they've done, it's as good as those, but it hasn't grown or evolved and they didn't do anything interesting or different with it.  So it felt stale.
