Stress Relief is one of, if not THE funniest episodes of The Office. Off the top of my head, I can't think of another one that even comes close to this. Hey, that's why I'm doing an Office marathon right now. Duh. Unfortunately this is also where The Office officially 'Jumped the Shark' in my eyes when they brought in Jack Black, Jessica Alba and Cloris Leachman. It's not that their parts in this episode were bad, it was just that it was so uncharacteristic of the series and it didn't quite feel right having big name stars on the show. The episode nor the series needed big name stars at this time....or anytime for that matter.

As for the rest of the episode, this definitely has the greatest opening ever. There is no denying that it is the funniest and most insane cold opening ever when Dwight starts a fire in the Office to train the rest of the employees in fire safety. When things fall apart and the  s h i t  hits the fan, I couldn't stop laughing. Sooooooooo damn funny it hurts. What could top this? Oh, how about the CPR class where Dwight cuts off the face of the CPR dummy and does his best Hannibal Lecter.

This episode also has the famous Roast bit where everyone basically makes Michael cry. Hell, when Michael comes back the next day and Roasts everyone else in The Office, they were genuinely funny jokes. The jokes are so good that I have been using the 'Meredith, you've slept with so many guys that you're starting to look like one" roast as my forum signature since 2008. It's that funny.
