The Roosevelts: An Intimate History (2014)

As you guys already know, I'm a huge Ken Burns fan. I own a few of his documentaries and The Roosevelts: An Intimate History is definitely one I fully intend to add to my DVD Library. This is a phenomenal set that tracks everything about The Roosevelts. I only knew my basic Roosevelt knowledge, the same as most as it taught in school. After plowing through this 7 part series in 3 days, clocking in with a run time of 14 hours, not counting the Behind the Scenes making of, I'm almost embarrassed that I knew so little about America's First Family. This doc is an exhaustive look (I use that word in a good way) about everything there is to know about them. Truly fascinating to get all this information. As much as this doc is about Theodore and Franklin, it's also about Eleanore. What an amazing woman. This set is epic and deserve all the accolades it gets. I highly recommend this as a Buy. 10 Stars.
