You should give it another shot, especially now that you're into writing because this one is all about character and will help any writer get a better understanding of how to write character, motivations, etc.... Not saying that you specifically need to. It's just something that can influence you and all writers in a positive way. Whenever I'm stuck in a rut in my writing, I always go back to certain movies to kick out the jams if you will and then things start to fall back into place again when you are expose to 'how things work' and are done extremely well.
