After watching this remake, of one of my favorite movies of all time, several times, I decided not to compare.

I've come to like Spielbergs version.

The ending... Yes, like the original movie, which both follow the book, suddenly ends. It is kinda anti-climatic. I'm just use to it.

I suggest watching both versions
