The Grey
Maybe The Grey is because it's about wolf's and their grey? Maybe because the film is very bleak with little color and everything is black or white... and grey. I don't know. I'm just wondering what the title meant. I kind of liked it. I'm glad I didn't pay for it, but nonetheless it was fun to sit through. Nothing really new and you could see story lines coming a mile away, but still the adventure was fun.
A bunch of rough necks working in the Alaskian wilderness get leave and are flying home when the plane crashes and leaves 7 men alive. They just happen to land in an area dominated by wolf packs and since they are very territorial and don't know man, they are on the offensive. The rest of the story is of survival. Yep, it's that simple. Some character interaction, but beyond that, a simple story of survival in very wintery conditions against some blood thirsty wolves.
I say at least a rent and this time of year, will make thinking about winter that much more enjoyable.

I don't care who was associated with this. This was just a lazy-ass movie. A far stretch of trying to pull a demon or the devil out of some numbers. Really lame. This was not scary in the least. Lots of shadows and what did I just see kind of scenes. They staple together a story that they try to put a nice bow on at the end. And the end... good lord. Shoddy ass laziness. We've seen it all before, but in much better ways.
I give it 1/2 star for Wendy Glen. Just looking at her. Nothing else.
