Good lord, I wish I was speaking of bad ****, even though no such thing exists.  ;)

I'm gonna hold you to that when Snookie gets around to making one....or a thousand.

Ok, let me rephrase that. 'I' haven't seen any bad pron

Wait, let me take that back. At my bachelor party 25+ years ago,  someone brought in some really bad 8mm pron. I wonder if THAT is anywhere online. Is there such a site as badpron dot com? I'm not looking.

Who is this Snookie?

Bridesmaids

Finally a decent and very funny movie. I heard it was good and it delivered. Some major laugh out loud moments. Not for the squimish. Typical R-rated stuff with some potty humor, but it's refreshing to see something different... from women. Definite recommendation. Rent this som****.

Saw lots of crap over the weekend. More of a watch out instead of any recommendations

Love N' Dancing

Sugary, schmaltzy, chick flick that could easily come from the Lifetime channel

Altitude

A sci-fi, weird stories, kind twilight zone story they decided would make a full major film treatment. Uh, no!!!
Bad dialogue and very bad special effects.

Scream 4

Holy crap, this was incredibly bad. I see rottentomatoes has 60% approval, but that just shows me how those folks don't take much to entertain. Not so good it's bad. Just bad and complete waste of time. The opening 20 minutes was horrible. Same **** scene 3 times in a row? The acting and dialogue I actually rolled my eyes.

I saw parts of the 2nd Scream and this looked exactly like it.

I quite watching after 45 minutes.

What the hell is happening with Wes Craven? Good gawd, his last film was horribly bad "My Soul To Take"

Really Wes? Really?

Fast Five

It's no secret the Fast and Furious movies are not Shakespear with academy award winning acting. What they are, is mindless, guilty pleasure, balls to the wall, adrenalin fun.

I admit, these are my guilty pleasure and Fast Five is just pure entertainment. The vault chase scene is just pure ridiculous fun.

Adding Dwayne Johnson was perfect. His bad-ass character just adds more meat to the story. So there's already talk of 6 & 7 being shot simultaneously. I believe by the same director Justin Lin

Really? No stars? I was looking forward to checking out Scre4m. I think I still will look to pick this up from the Library. Me love Courtney long time. I definitely want to check out Fast Five too.

Really, I was ****ed at the time I wasted with what I watched. Again, this is my take on it.

What's Cooking

This actually my second time checking out What's Cooking. I thought my wife would enjoy it especially with the food angle (she's an amazing chef). This leans into chick flick territory, but that's OK. There are some very good ones out there and this is one of them. Following 4 ethnic families on Thanksgiving with all the trials and tribulations, it never lets up on keeping your attention. I recommend it.

And if you like this I highly suggest Nothing Like The Holiday's.

Horrible Bosses

Meh... it was OK. I've been enjoying the R-rated crude comedies of late and Horrible Bosses was clearly riding that horse. Some of it was over the top. The 'Horrible' bosses were fun to watch in a fiendish way

EXCEPT

Jennifer Aniston as sex crazed nympho. That 1/3 of the bosses scenario I think severely hurt the movie. The employee was put off by her? Seriously? That was just stupid. It was good to see Aniston break out a little bit, but misplaced here in this movie.

I would recommend halfheartedly. Don't pay any kind of major bucks to see this.

Limitless I would give it 4 stars but I don't see where the stars are so... yeah.

I didn't hear much about but it had a kind of intriguing premiss so I checked it out and loved it. It started out kind of slow but after a bit it moves right along and keeps making you ask "Whats gonna happen when he runs out?" and you won't be able to see it coming. Its not a huge twist but for me it was satisfying.  I don't know what it is about Bradley Cooper but he's got this thing about him that I just enjoy watching the stuff he does, even that tv show Kitchen Confidential which was really sort of terrible but fun probably because of him. He's got this weird delivery that reminds me of John Ritter for some reason. Anyway the whole cast is great and it doesn't hurt that Robert DeNiro is in it.

I rather liked this too. I actually was really grinning when DeNiro was sparring with words with Cooper. That was cherry stuff there. I definitely recommend it.

I was not sure what to expect from this movie. Mainly because I did not seek out any kind of synopsis of the story. I just knew it was a Kevin Smith movie and was getting attention for a variety of reasons.

This is not a feel good movie, but I think you will be thinking of this movie long after it’s over. I would suggest watching the “Making Of” immediately afterwards to help balance such a dark horrific movie. Some people do label this a horror movie, but not in the conventional sense. It’s the horror within people that makes this disturbing. Kevin Smith describes this well by comparing someone asking you to sit down on the chair and they immediately turn it upside down so you stick your ass into one of the legs. No sorry… didn’t mean that. Sit down. And they do it again.

You get comfortable with the direction and it changes. Nothing like he’s done before. Great performances. You buy into these people completely believe in what they are doing. And so relevant for today. I highly recommend checking this out. I’m not sure I’ll ever watch it again, but damn, I won’t forget it
