Parenthood - The Movie I thought my wife had seen most of the non-sci-fi movies, but rather taken back she did not even know about the original Ron Howard movie that was the basis for the popular TV show. So I jumped on this opportunity to sit down with her to watch it. I've always enjoyed it and sitting down to watch it years later was rather enlightening. It's still enjoyable but in a very simplistic way. After years of watching the TV show and all it's dynamics twisting and turning, makes the movie seem like a Sesame Street show. I don't know how better to explain it. It fun, easy to digest and then it's done. Some of the characters in the TV show are from movie, but wisely they re-imagined it to something not so dated. Not dated... but characters that had their limitations.
I still love Keanu Reeves discussing Garry's predicament (who I just found out is Joaquin Phoenix)
Again, a good movie, but just different in my eyes now.
