Man, I'm sooooooooooooo happy to have electricity back!!!! The blackout hit us this afternoon and we just now got our power back on. It's 1:26am now. Spending time reading about what the hell happened. Starting with....


It wasn't a nice feeling today. After a couple of hours with no power, I suspected that it was bigger than just a couple of blocks being affected. So at this time I went down to VONS just to see what was happening. Sure enough, as soon as I get down there, there were huge lines for both CVS and VONS. But people were already becoming unruly. I had somehow walked right into VONS and when I began looking for stuff that I thought I might need, there were some people already pushing and shoving just to get ice. We are only into a blackout for a few hours, and this is all it takes for people to start acting out like this? Oh brother.

I got out of there are fast as I could. I didn't want to get caught in a place that could have gotten way out of control at the drop of a hat.

The Employee that trigger the blackout was heard saying " I didn't do it".
